Detailed description

HTC Triple PCD with Single Round Segment for Concrete Floor Epoxy Removing (HTC-PCD3R1)

T-Rex is a tool specifically developed for really tough stripping such as removal of epoxy, glue or cementitious toppings >3mm. The tool consists of 2 PCD diamond segment and 3 PCD diamond dome that join forces to generate a highly powerful floor prep tool for thicker coatings. The T-Rex DOME II is equipped with a protective segment to improve performance (to avoid too deep penetration) and is available in both A and B versions.

PCD tools WITHOUT Sacrificial bars or Metal Bond Button are the most aggressive style and will leave a very coarse profile on the concrete underneath. These are suitable for removal of:
• Thick mastics and glues
• ¼” Thick Parking Deck Membranes
• 30 mils and up Epoxy Coatings
• Thick Elastomeric Membranes

• Any coating with silica sand broadcast mixed in

PCD tools WITH Sacrificial Bars or Metal Bond Button are designed to remove coating over a surface equal to a troweled surface and will not damage the concrete. The sacrificial bars or the metal button act as a stabilizer and depth guide, and reduce the gauging of the floor caused by the aggressive pcd segments. These tools are suitable for removal of:
Medium to thin mastics or glues
Failing epoxy coatings (30 mils or less)

PCD Tools can be used for coating removal of thin, old, dried glues, 20 mils or less- epoxy coatings, floor paints, cure-n-seals, etc.

1.PCDs with a metal button or sacrificial bars are less aggressive and are designed for thin coating removal.
2.PCDs without a metal button or sacrificial bars are very aggressive and designed for thick coating removal. They will leave a very coarse profile on the concrete.
3.Important: PCD tools are direction specific. Always check the direction of rotation of the grinding heads.
